Occasionwear on a budget

value for money Mother of the bride outfits, a minefield for the customer and retailer! Absolutely everyone in this economic climate is screaming out for the best price that they can get and quite rightly so, and so we are now used to the term " your best price" in almost every transaction. So for next season we are investing in budget busting collections of £300 and under for what I have to say are really beautiful Mother of the bride and groom outfits and also less formal gowns for the all important special guests.
However it seams to us in store that when customers are given the option of these outfits on a budget they almost always gravitate towards the more exspensive designers we have in store and then want these outfits for the same money, often leaving frustrated when as a retailer we have to say no. We put a lot of work into sourcing the best desiegners across all price points but the ever increasing "champagne tastes" are making us ponder our next direction. Some of our best competitors have made decisions that have impacted thier pricing structure, either by completely turning into value or designer stores. We really want to continue to offer a wider choice to our customers so our advice is realistically decide on your price point and stick to it. No one is ever judged for honesty, we love to sell you a gown for £250 that you look amazing in and everyone comments on as much as the one for £1000.
